D-Flector Stone Guards North America warrants eligible D-Flector stone guards to the original retail purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship under normal recreational use for three years from the original purchase date.

This Limited Warranty applies to eligible products purchased directly from d-flector.com or from an authorized D-Flector dealer in the United States.

What is covered

Subject to the terms below, the warranty covers manufacturing defects affecting the product’s intended function, including eligible defects in:

  • Structural frame components
  • Welds
  • Supplied mounting brackets and hardware
  • Mesh panels 
  • Zippers, bungee components and other wearable parts 

Normal wear is not a manufacturing defect.

What is not covered

This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

  • Incorrect product selection or trailer incompatibility
  • Incorrect installation or failure to follow installation instructions
  • Loose, incorrectly tightened or uninspected fasteners
  • Modification, welding, drilling or alteration of the product
  • Collision, accident, road hazards or impact beyond normal intended use
  • Overloading or use outside published specifications
  • Commercial, rental or competitive use 
  • Abuse, neglect or improper storage
  • Pressure washing, harsh chemicals or unsuitable cleaning methods
  • Corrosion caused by inadequate rinsing or maintenance
  • Normal fading, cosmetic deterioration or ordinary wear
  • Damage caused by another product, vehicle or trailer component
  • Unauthorized repairs
  • Return shipping damage
  • Consequential damage to a boat, personal watercraft, trailer, towing vehicle or other property

The guard reduces exposure to stones and road debris but cannot prevent every possible impact or guarantee that a boat, trailer or tow vehicle will remain damage-free.

Customer responsibilities

The customer must:

  • Select the appropriate model using the published fitment requirements
  • Install the product according to the current instructions
  • Confirm all required clearances before towing
  • Inspect mounts, brackets, mesh and fasteners before each trip
  • Retighten components at the intervals specified in the installation guide
  • Rinse and maintain the product after exposure to salt, deicing chemicals or corrosive road spray
  • Stop using the product if a component becomes loose, damaged or unsafe

Making a warranty claim

Email sales@d-flector.com and provide:

  • Name and contact details
  • Original order number or dated proof of purchase
  • Product model and serial, SKU or batch number, if available
  • Date the issue was first observed
  • Description of the issue
  • Clear photographs or video
  • Photographs showing the complete installation and trailer mounting points

We may request additional information or inspection before approving a claim. Do not return a product unless return authorization and instructions have been provided.

Warranty remedies

For a valid claim, D-Flector may, at its option and subject to applicable law:

  • Provide replacement parts
  • Repair the product
  • Replace the product with the same or a reasonably equivalent product
  • Refund the purchase price

The selected remedy will depend on the nature of the defect, product availability and applicable law.

Authorized shipping costs for a valid warranty claim will be handled as follows: For an approved warranty claim, D-Flector will cover reasonable shipping costs for returning the defective product or component and sending the repaired or replacement product to the customer. Customers must obtain written authorization and follow the shipping instructions provided by D-Flector before returning any item. Unauthorized shipping costs, expedited shipping, packaging services and other additional charges will not be reimbursed.

Transferability

This warranty is limited to the original retail purchaser. 

Limitations

To the extent permitted by applicable law, this Limited Warranty is the exclusive express warranty provided for the product. Some states do not allow certain limitations on implied warranties or exclusions of incidental or consequential damages, so some limitations may not apply to every customer.

Nothing in this warranty limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
